It’s spring! The sun stays out just a little bit longer each day, the dinner gets a little bit later each night, the calendar gets a little bit more full, and the battle for intentional time in the Word gets a little bit more real. But grown-ups don’t fret. We’ve done the planning and upfront legwork to help you create a special, intentional time with your kiddos this Easter season. And there is still time for as much outdoor play as your heart desires.
Our FREE Holy Week Activity Journal walks kids through the events of Holy Week, from Palm Sunday to Resurrection Sunday. It recalls the account of each day using simple language, engaging hands-on activities, a prayer prompt, and a Scripture reference.
It really is simple. Print out the journal, pull up a chair next to your kiddo, and make meaningful connections to the Easter story together.
Each activity can be completed with basic supplies you likely have at home. (Think: crayons, markers, glue). Below we’ve listed some helpful resources that we think are fun additions to the activities and are useful for any future projects your kiddos might enjoy.

Kids love to paint! Watercolor painting is so much fun, and it doesn’t have to be messy. Color like you would with any old colored pencil, and then go over these with a wet brush. Watch as your masterpiece becomes a watercolor piece perfect for the front of the fridge.

These misting spray bottles work great for art projects like the palm branch from the Palm Sunday activity. They also work great for taming frizzy hair.
